30 Day Visit without a Visa

The majority of tourists to Thailand do not need to apply for a Thai tourist visa before arrival to Thailand. Thailand allows most tourists to receive an authorized 30 day stay for tourism in Thailand without a Thai tourist visa. If your Thailand family vacation will be fewer than 30 days, you do not need to be concerned with visas issues for this trip. When you arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport or other port of entry, the 30 day stay will be stamped in each passport and you are able to travel throughout Thailand for the next 30 days.

Arriving Passengers are required to fill out immigration card No.6 [T.M.] from the Immigration Office. Your airline will also provide the form for you to fill before you land. (Travel to Thailand)

Visa On Arrival (Visas and Travel Documents)

Passengers without entry visas (please see “List of countries” section below) are able to obtain visas at the arrival counter. A fee of 300 Baht must be paid and two pictures of one inch size are required (express photo service fee for four photos is 120 Baht). The length of stay is limited. Please check the link below.
